Elanirne, Priestess of Stendarr
Born in Shimmerene on the 3rd of Rain's Hand, 2E 460 to a minor noble house, Elanirne (el-uh-NEAR-nay) actually only ended up spending the first ten years of her life on the Summerset Isles before her parents packed up and emigrated to Daggerfall in High Rock due to their disdain for "the corruption inherent to Altmeri culture".
As a result, Elanirne was raised primarily on Breton culture, and found common ground with Stendarr, the apologist of Men, whose preaching of mercy and kindness resonated with her. The priesthood took advantage of her natural magical aptitude and trained her as a healer, which she took to readily.
By the age of 50, she had established herself as the finest healer in Glenumbra, though she remained modest about it. This reputation led a ragtag band of adventurers to seek her out, requesting her aid on a delve into some Direnni ruins. This presented an interesting challenge, so after some negotiation, she agreed to tag along.
The adventurers were unfortunately not what you'd call experienced, however, and would bumble from one room to the next, setting off traps and alerting the monsters that had been attracted to the latent magical energies. Nevertheless, Elanirne found their relaxed attitudes and unwillingness to give up refreshing, and ended up bantering with them easily.
Though the band did not find what they were after in those ruins, Elanirne had secured her reputation in their eyes, and they and other adventuring parties sought her out again and again to aid them in their quests. Between these outings, the gold she made went towards charitable works and furthering her own training. In time, she developed an aptitude for many crafts, and even ended up outfitting many of the expeditions she went on.
Though these adventures took her to many places, she spent little time actually exploring Tamriel, and by 2E 582, wanderlust had set in. She now wanders the continent, proactively seeking out adventure and helping people and communities however she can.
